Successful NWRS Foundation Licence Course

GG100GGC Girl Guiding Caernarfonshire Special Event Station

Saturday 15th May saw NWRS members at Felin Bach, Caeathro, Caernarfon where we ran a special event station for Caernarfonshire Girl Guides at thier summer county camp. On Tuesday 4th May, NWRS equipment officer Karl Ltham MW6CSS travelled to a summit near Llangollen with his Yaesu 857 and a 4ele beam. Karl was soon on the air and racking up contacts on SSB. By 8pm he had worked G8JGO/P in IO93GI @ 121km, G0EHV in IO84XT @ 221km and G0XDI/P in JO01KJ @323km. […]
