MB6MB has suffered diminished RF TX performance recently. The equipment has been dismantled and tested. A Motorola bolt type power amplifier transistor has been found to be operating with much reduced gain. A replacement transistor has been ordered with delivery promised this week. All being well, the node should be returned to service this weekend [...]
