Well done to all five canditates who took part in the very first foundation licence training course and subsequent foundation examination at the new Tan Lan club house. The standard was extremely high with three candidates acheiving a result of 23/25 and the remaining two acheiving 25/25. Congratulations to MW6ECB Emily, MW6CLJ Ceri, MW6BAS Beth, MW6TAK Chris and MW6LBP Iwan. NWRS hope you enjoy your new hobby and look forward to seeing you on a future intermediate course!

Congratulations to all 5 of you. I too, look forward to hearing you on the bands. No doubt Emily will be pushing Dad Mark off the radio as will Beth with Taid Rob !! It’s so good to see new, young, members at the club joining in with activities.

Hi Liz,
Emily, Beth, Chris, Iwan and Tom (Iwans soon to be licensed dad) came down to the Tan y Lan fun day on Sunday to help out and share a laugh. Ceri was working and couldn’t make it.
It looks like we have some active members to keep entertained 🙂
If we carry on at this rate we will be looking for bigger premises again soon! Membership has increased by over 25% since the last AGM!
