Liz has been in contact with David GW8NZN and he will do a talk on “The Battle of Britain… A hundred and twenty two days to save Britain” – on THURSDAY 22ND FEBRUARY (replacing the one postponed due to illness).
Despite the quiz attempts of Liz and George, there was good fun to be had, good company and delicious food (thank you BVUK mess, really well catered for). Have a wonderful Christmas and see you in the New Year!

Blind Veterans UK annual centre closure – Thursday 30th November. Please note that there won’t be a NWRS meeting next week due to this, but will re-commence the following week, Thursday 7th December 2017.
Thank you to all who turned up for the surplus equipment sale last night. We managed our objective of paring down to the essentials that we need at the BVUK radio room. We received £137 into club funds.
NWRS has surplus equipment for sale, to be held at 19:00 on Thursday 2nd of November 2017 at the Colwyn Bay Town Council Chambers (the old club venue). Non members welcome – please email northwalesradiosociety@gmail.com for details of the auction and location.
