New Venue as from the 9th November 2007:

The Venue briefly is as follows:
Very large hall, tastefully decorated, will seat 80 persons seated around green blaze tables. We have a kitchen and toilet facilities, and nice and warm. We also have full use of all facilities for Video and Computer demonstrations, with loops for the hard of hearing.

The Venue address is:

Town Hall, Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7TE

Our first meeting will be held on 9th November 2006 - 7.30 until 9.30, and each and every Thursday evening after that. Map of the venue on the Society's Web pages.   (see map)

This is a new beginning, we can now concentrate on Amateur Radio, with talks, lectures, demonstrations, and tutorials, and making available to old members and new, a place of fun and laughter, where they can get information and guidance in all aspects of Amateur Radio.

We need your help in getting the news out, so do the best that you can to inform members old and new?

We appear to have lost one of our Racal masts! It has not been returned, if you have it please contact the Secretary to help in getting it returned.

Events:

Thursday: 26 Oct 2006: Preparation for surplus sale to be held next week, also - final discussion on new venue.
Thursday: 02 Nov 2006: Society Surplus Equipment Sale, plus member's junk sale, many bargains. - Our last meeting in the YMCA - Wine and soft drinks available.
Thursday: 7th November: First meeting at our new venue. A warm welcome to all, members and visitors welcome. Our operating, times are from: 7.30 to 9.30pm.

Any Suggestions you may have, that will assist in improving our services, or inclusions to the events diary, will be most welcome.

We need to get this news out so I will rely on all the members to do their best.
